A General Contractor's Best Friend

As a commercial glass contractor with glass and aluminum fabrication in-house, we're a perfect fit for any commercial project — including glass door repair.

A commercial glazing partner, not a glass shop

Commercial glazing is the design, supply, and installation of glass and aluminum systems on commercial buildings — storefronts, curtain walls, entrance vestibules, interior partitions, and specialty glazing. We've been the South Jersey commercial glazing contractor general contractors call first for almost 100 years. We bid the package, manage shop drawings, sequence install with adjacent trades, and stand behind the punch list.

Our teams are trained on stick-built and unitized systems from Kawneer, EFCO, YKK AP, and Tubelite. We hold the right certifications for impact-rated, fire-rated, and bullet-resistant assemblies. New construction, tenant fit-out, or full storefront retrofit — we've installed it across NJ, PA, and DE.

What's in scope

  • • Aluminum storefronts & entrances
  • • Curtain walls (stick & unitized)
  • • Interior glass partitions & office fit-outs
  • • Bullet-resistant & fire-rated glazing
  • • Hurricane & impact-rated systems
  • • Service windows & transaction glazing
  • • Glass railings & balconies
  • • Insulated glass units (IGUs)

Bid documents → field install

Send us your construction documents and we'll return a detailed glazing-package estimate — typically within 5 business days. Once awarded, we coordinate with your steel, deck-edge, and weather-barrier scopes; produce shop drawings; manage factory glazing where applicable; and sequence on-site assembly with the broader build schedule.

Code & standards

Every install meets the NJ Uniform Construction Code, 2018 IBC and IECC chapters on glazing and energy performance, ASTM E330 for windload and water resistance, and AAMA fenestration standards. Fire-rated assemblies are listed to UL 263 and NFPA 80. Documentation included with every project.

Commercial Glass & Door Repair

Cracked storefront glass or a commercial glass door that won't latch is a liability the moment it happens. We handle commercial glass door repair for retail storefronts, offices, schools, and healthcare facilities across South Jersey — broken or fogged glass panels, damaged commercial glass entry doors, worn door closers, misaligned pivots, and bent or corroded hardware. The same company that fabricates and installs new storefronts also services what's already on the building, so repairs match the original glazing system instead of a mismatched patch.

Our five branches — Vineland, Berlin, Glassboro, Marmora, and Wildwood — put a repair crew within reach of retail strips, medical offices, and school campuses across NJ, PA, and DE. Free on-site evaluations quote the fix by glass type, frame condition, and hardware needed before any work begins. Whether it's a single cracked pane or a full entrance system that needs new glass and hardware, one call covers evaluation, glass, and hardware — no subcontractor handoff.

A commercial glass contractor, start to finish

SJ Glass & Door fabricates, installs, and services storefront and curtain wall glazing under one roof — we're not a subcontractor reselling someone else's glass package. General contractors bring us in for bid-package estimating and new-construction install; property managers and building owners call us directly for repair and replacement once the building's occupied. Fabrication, installation, and service from one commercial glazing shop — with a century of South Jersey projects behind it.
